Mr. Nazir Ahmed Mir Chairman and Managing Director is a first Generation Entrepreneur. He Founded M&CO as a partnership firm in 1971 and was the Lead partner for ENAR SAMITH (Hotel Pine Palace).Mr. Nazir's biggest contribution is the setting up of Magpie Hydel Construction Industries Pvt. Ltd in 2003 ,largest privately owned renewable generator in Jammu and Kashmir of North India. Under his leadership the company has successfully completed various projects upto a capacity of 105 Mw for Government of J&K. As an Independent Power Producer he has ensured that the group Projects Athwattoo (2x5 Mw),Tangmarg (3x3.33) and Mandi (3x5) were all competed within budget and ahead of timelines. He is the Chairman for Mass N ERGY Pvt ltd. and a mentor to the Developers in the sector.
Nazir Ahmad Mir
Muddasir Mir Nazir has a Bachelors in Commerce from Delhi University and completed Higher National Certificate in Finance from Wigan and Leigh College. Muddasir completed his Masters in Business Administration with Majors in Management , Entrepreneurship and Media and Communication from Fordham University, New York. He returned to India and joined his Family Business taking the assignment of Leading Quixotic Quotes-Wealth Management firm and The Pine Palace Resort at Gulmarg Kashmir. Muddasir soon took on the assignment as Director Magpie Hydel and M&CO. Pvt. Ltd. leading the Finance, Banking, Power sale and Electro Mechanical Divisions in the company. Muddasir is also the CEO/Director of Mass-N-Ergy Pvt. Ltd. a group company of MCO GROUP AND KVG group.

The firm was established in 1971 in the name of M/s M & Co. In the initial years, the firm started by doing EPC work for small and medium scale government Hydroelectric Projects, Railway Lines, Bridges and Roadways. The company got listed under the Companies Act on 31.03.2006 and henceforth, executed many prestigious infrastructural and Hydro-Electric Projects in Jammu and Kashmir. The company continues to construct major civil and electrical work contracts with State and Central Government. With over five decades of experience the company envisages to play a major role in developing infrastructure within the region.

Lead by the hard work and technical skill of our team and Mr. Nazir A. Mir Chairman and Managing
Director, the turnover of the company progressed steadily to 267 million rupees during the year
2003-04 and subsequently, to 910 million rupees for the year 2022-23, which includes infrastructural
projects of 450 million rupees allotted by Government of J&K, projects funded by Asian Development
Bank and one billion rupees projects allotted by IRCON International Limited, Government of India.
Both the projects have been completed and handed over to the respective departments and are running
successfully.
